Since we publicly announced our formation, a lot of folks have been curious to see how the FOCO will handle the processing of complaints and suggestions. So, we have recently added a page that details how we will handle concerns that are communicated to us. In particular, we have heard the an overwhelming call to protect constituents from potential retribution, and a desire to understand how we can work to promote a safe atmosphere for all.
An organization is only as good as the policies that it creates, and then follows. To that end, we’ve adopted some best practices, and published them as a reference for all stakeholders. We’ve also detailed the scope of our group, and what we can and cannot do in regards to the Fencing Officials Commission, and USA Fencing.
